This Thursday, June 11th, in Vancouver BC, about 600-700 hi-tech professionals, internet advertisers, social media marketers, bloggers, video game developers and tech fans are coming together for a competition where 5 contestants deliver a 60 second pitch, idea, recruiting message, or elevator pitch. The audience will vote for their 2 favorite pitches - prizes awarded. Just bought my ticket.

A team project spring quarter will provide real-life application and a portfolio accomplishment for your resume.

The UW Extension also offers a Marketing Management certificate program that provides a broader foundation in the discipline of marketing. This fall-start program is ideal for those professionals seeking to excel as a marketing specialist and move up to marketing management role. Alumni of the Marketing Certificate program are well suited to take the more advanced and specialized Advanced Interactive Marketing certificate program.
